Final deisgn for "The Devil" tarot card

Illustrators in the illustration club here at The Art Institute of Boston have been working collaboratively on re creating in their own style the major arcana. We all had our card selected at random and I was given "The Devil." Here is my final shot of this new little 3-D creation! Enjoy :)

Little Devil (Character for a collaborative Taro Card series)

This is how I like my desk. Covered in ideas.
It is so satisfying to see a character go from a simple doodle in your sketchbook to a tangible object.
This little 5 hour project was for a taro card design for part of a series of the Major Arcana that the Illustration Club at The Art Institute of Boston is collaboratively working on.
Very excited to see how my final photograph comes out.
It is funny when I am making these characters sometimes because I sew their outfit and then after I cut the last thread I realize that I had not thought about how this would make it onto his body.

But in the end it worked out :) he is wearing little devil footy pajamas. Trying to make evil a little cuter. Hoping to finish his hands, feet, and environment this week. Stay tuned for the final card design. Might also make a little story to go along with him, but who knows.
